This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share information when you use the Bitcoin Canvas mobile application on iOS and Android, and the Bitcoin Canvas website.
Bitcoin Canvas is operated by Mangosteen Studio, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“we,” “us”). We are the data controller for the processing described here.
Bitcoin Canvas is an informational and portfolio-tracking application for Bitcoin. We do not custody funds, execute orders, transmit money, or hold private keys.

Several of these are unusual for an app in this category:
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use it for advertising of any kind.
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud Platform (US) | Application and database hosting | Stored account and content data |
| Firebase Authentication | Account sign-in | Email, authentication credential |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash and stability reporting | Device and crash data, no user identifiers |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging | Push notification delivery | Device token |
| RevenueCat | Subscription entitlement management | Anonymous user ID, subscription status |
| Apple / Google | In-app purchase processing | Handled by the platform; we receive status only |
We also work with service providers who help us build, host and maintain the app. Where any such provider has access to production systems, that access is contractually limited to what’s required to deliver the service and is revoked when it’s no longer needed.
We disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets — in which case we’ll notify you.
Bitcoin Canvas includes AI-generated content and an AI assistant.
The assistant. When you send a message to the assistant, we transmit the following to our AI service: your message, persona, preferred currency and exchange, and app preferences. This context is used solely to personalise the assistant's responses.
What is not transmitted: your holdings, portfolio value, transaction history, goal amounts, wallet addresses and exchange API credentials are not included in the assistant payload.
Generated content. Articles and summaries in the news section are produced with AI assistance.
Our AI provider. Messages sent to the assistant are processed by a third-party AI provider identified in Section 4.
AI output can be wrong. It may be inaccurate, outdated or fabricated. Nothing it produces is financial advice.
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure in the United States. Access to production data is limited to personnel in the United States.
We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. That includes your profile, transactions, holdings, goals and your conversation history with the AI assistant, which is retained so the assistant can refer back to earlier messages. You can clear your assistant conversation history at any time in the app without deleting your account.
Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app. When you do, we permanently delete your profile, transactions, goals, assistant conversation history and authentication credential.
Crash reports, which carry no user identifiers, are retained on our crash reporting provider’s own schedule. Records we must keep for tax, accounting or legal reasons are retained for the period the law requires.
We use encryption in transit and at rest, authentication controls and access restrictions on production systems.
Nothing is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we’ll notify you and any required regulator without undue delay.

The Bitcoin Canvas website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in from working.

California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of sale or sharing. Other US states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon and Montana — have broadly equivalent rights, honoured on the same basis.
Canada (PIPEDA). You may request access to your personal information and challenge its accuracy, and may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
How to make a request. Email help@mangosteen.studio. We’ll respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
If we deny your request. You may appeal by replying to our decision, or by emailing help@mangosteen.studio with “Appeal” in the subject line. We’ll respond within 45 days with our decision and the reasons for it. If we deny your appeal, you may contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.
Bitcoin Canvas is for adults. You must be 18 or older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
We may update this Policy. We’ll post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes give notice in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date indicates acceptance.
